Shoot Information
I will be completely honest, I'm not a dancer, I actually have two left feet when it comes to dancing! But...I have been a professional dance photographer for 5 years and have photographed over 400 amazingly talented humans, ranging from aspiring to professional. Prior to dance, I was a professional Wedding Photographer and undertook weddings in the UK and all over the world. I have an eye for detail and understand the importance of ensuring you are technically correct for each shot. So if you don't think your knee is fully stretched, or your feet aren't where they need to be, don't panic! because I will be looking at these technical elements every time I take a picture. Being technically correct in each picture is just as important to me, as it is to you. Prior to every shoot, I offer you a range of locations that will work well with your style and with your outfits and will send you some mood board shots to give you some ideas. I always focus on your strengths as a dancer and will never push you beyond your limit. At the same time, I like to be creative with pictures and will take you out of your comfort zone and try new things. One of the qualities I've been told I have as a photographer is the ability to relax and make people feel at ease. My goal is to get the absolute best out of you, and from the moment we meet, I will do everything I can to make that happen! I also love to get Mum or Dad involved in our shoots. Whether they are my second camera person getting some behind the scenes footage, or the security guard protecting all our stuff, your parent or guardian plays a very important role during the shoot!
