The Humber Bridge is one of my favourite locations to shoot close to home — huge skies, open space, the shoreline and, of course, that incredible bridge dominating the landscape.
These shoots are all about chasing the best light, so we shoot either early morning, when everything is quiet and we can catch that beautiful soft light and sunrise atmosphere, or late afternoon into sunset, when the whole location can completely transform.
From the foreshore and waterside to the bridge itself, there’s so much space here to create big, dramatic dance images where the dancer becomes part of the landscape.
